The Courtyard

The Courtyard is committed to providing Creative Ageing arts and culture opportunities to older people living in our very rural county. We run a wide range of projects and regular classes to combat isolation for older people by delivering high quality arts sessions to improve their personal independence by allowing them to become more active, improving health, well-being and quality of life. To find out more about our Dementia Friendly events and workshops have a look at our access page.

Become a Dementia Friend

As part of our commitment to making Hereford more dementia friendly, we offer monthly Dementia Friends Information Sessions here at The Courtyard. These sessions are for everyone whether you are directly impacted by dementia or not, anyone can be a Dementia Friend. You'll learn a little about dementia, understanding the condition and how it impacts those that live with it as well as ways you can help. Sessions last about 45-60 mins and you only need to attend once.
