Marches Family Network was established in 1982 under the auspices of Contact a Family as a small self-help parent group. They became independent in 1995 and have grown into the amazing charity they are today, actively supporting over 170 families in Herefordshire, Shropshire and the surrounding areas. Marches Family Network provide high quality respite care services for children with disabilities and special needs including Saturday play days and summer holiday play schemes which are extremely popular. They also provide support for the families of disabled children locally. Help varies from advocacy, advice, signposting to other services, help with form filling or a friendly face and bit of understanding. They run family outings too, a chance for parents to make new friends and share information.
